LANCASTER, PA– Built by High Construction, the Courtyard by Marriott in Lancaster, Pa., received the top honor at the Marriott International General Managers' Conference in San Diego, in February. Marriott International named the new Courtyard, “Opening Hotel of the Year” for 2005.

The hotel was selected based on (1) exceptional readiness for opening, (2) high levels of construction and design compliance in meeting Marriott's required standards, (3) ability to open earlier than planned, (4) financial success, and (5) strong opening occupancy.

During its first year of service, the Lancaster Courtyard by Marriott was also the number one ranked Courtyard by Marriott out of more than 680 Courtyard by Marriott hotels worldwide based on guest satisfaction ratings.
