LANCASTER, PA—High Construction Company was awarded a $4.4 million contract by J.C. Penney Properties Inc., to build a 99,000-square-foot JCPenney department store at the intersection of Interstate 283 and Lindle Road in Harrisburg, Pa.
The JCPenney store will serve as an anchor to the High Pointe Commons shopping center, also under construction by High Construction.
Construction of the JCPenney store began in December 2005 and will wrap up this summer. Deron Henise is serving as senior project manager and Rick Neidlinger is serving as project superintendent.
