LANCASTER, PA—High Construction Company was awarded a contract to serve as construction manager for renovations to Franklin & Marshall College's historic Distler House in Lancaster, Pa.

The building will retain its unique Tudor-style exterior, while undergoing both interior and exterior modifications to convert a portion of the space into a campus bookstore and a café.

Renovation work on the two-story, 8,000-square-foot project has begun and will wrap up this summer.

Distler House was built in 1891 as a gymnasium. It has gone through several renovations over the years, having housed a recreation area, canteen, and registrar and personnel offices.
