LANCASTER, PA—High Construction Company was awarded a contract by Hershey Entertainment & Resorts to renovate the historic Hershey Press Building at 27 W. Chocolate Ave., in downtown Hershey, Pa.
Originally built in 1916 to print candy labels and later converted to a department store and a grocery store, the 80,000-square-foot building is now being redeveloped for commercial and office use. The upper two floors will serve as Hershey Entertainment & Resort's corporate offices. The first floor will be leased for retail.
High Construction was selected as the prime contractor for interior general trades work, totaling approximately 52,600-square-feet, and will coordinate all prime contractors on the project. High Construction will complete the renovation in September.
