The Acorn Press printing and warehouse facility underwent major changes, totaling over 31,000-square-feet of new and renovated space. On the first floor, an 18,000-square-foot addition was made for a production area, lunchroom, and locker rooms. On the second floor, a 9,000-square-foot addition added storage space. Approximately 4,300-square-feet of office renovations were also made to the facility.
Pre-engineered steel was used as an inexpensive building solution. It was provided by CECO Building Systems of Rocky Mount, NC.
